最常见的副作用是嗜睡。在猫中，这种药物会引起兴奋而不是镇静。不太常见的副作用包括腹泻，呕吐，食欲不振，口干和轻度排尿。严重的副作用包括癫痫发作，呼吸异常，不协调，肌肉震颤和昏迷。
2.扑尔敏是饭前服用还是饭后服用？

The most common side effect is sleepiness. However, this medication can cause excitement rather than sedation in cats. Less common side effects include diarrhea, vomiting, loss of appetite, thirst and mild micturition. Serious side effects include seizures, abnormal breathing, incoordination, muscle tremors, and coma.
2.Should chlorpheniramine maleate be taken before or after meals?
It can be given with or without food; however, if vomiting occurs when dosed on an empty stomach, give future doses with food.
3.Can it be used for dogs and cats during pregnancy and lactation?
Not recommended, Chlorpheniramine maleate can enter into metabolism of milk, and safety during nursing is not assured.
