PHARMACEUTICAL FORM:
This product is a white film or a light blue or light green film with a colorant, or a film-coated tablet.
INDICATIONS FOR USE:
H2-receptor antagonist,can reduce vomiting caused by chronic gastritis in dogs.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Cimetine should be administered orally three times daily for 28 days at a dose of 5~10mg/kg body weight (1/2 tablet for pets that weight 6~10kg, and 1 tablet for pets that weight 11~20kg).

1.西美丁饭前还是饭后服用？
西咪替丁可以起到保护胃粘膜抑制胃酸分泌的作用，而饭前服用，能够充分发挥其作用。
2.西美丁可以和抗酸剂合用吗？
不可以，可能降低西咪替丁的吸收，应错开给药（如可能间隔2h）
3.孕期、泌乳期的犬猫可以使用吗？
不建议使用，西咪替丁能进入乳汁，还不确定哺乳期使用是否安全。

1.Should pets take CimetineTM before or after meals?
Cimetidine can protect gastric mucosa and inhibit gastric acid secretion, while taking cimetidine before meals can give full play to its effect.
2.Can cimetidine be used with antacid?
No, it may reduce the absorption of cimetidine.；stagger doses (separate by 2 hours if possible).
3.Can dogs and cats during pregnancy and lactation be used?
Not recommended,cimetidine is distributed into milk ;while safety during nursing is not assured .
西美丁®注意事项
1.本品仅用于对症治疗，建议出现持续性呕吐症状的犬在治疗前进行适当的检查以诊断病因。
2.对于肾功能不全的犬，需适当调整给药剂量。
3.本品未进行妊娠期和哺乳期靶动物的相关研究，应在执业兽医指导下进行妊娠期和哺乳期用药。
4.本品可能与β受体拮抗剂、钙通道拮抗剂、苯二氮卓类、巴比妥类、苯妥英、茶碱、氨茶碱、华法林和利多卡因等药物产生临床相互作用，当合并用药时，应减低这些药物的使用剂量。
5.本品可能引起胃酸PH值升高导致药物吸收降低，需要借助酸性介质促进吸收；与氢氧化铝或氢氧化镁、甲氧氯普胺、地高辛和酮康唑的用药间隔至少为2小时。
6.本品开封后，剩余药片应放在泡罩包装中避光保存。
CimetineTM Attention
1. This product is only used for symptomatic treatment. Dogs with persistent vomiting symptoms are advised to undergo appropriate examination before treatment to diagnose the cause.
2. For dogs with renal insufficiency, the dose should be adjusted appropriately.
3. This product has not been studied on target animals during pregnancy and lactation, and drugs should be used during pregnancy and lactation under the guidance of a licensed veterinarian.
4. This product may interact clinically with β-receptor antagonists, calcium channel antagonists, benzodiazepines, barbiturates, phenytoin, theophylline, aminophylline, warfarin and lidocaine. The dosage of these drugs should be reduced.
5. This product may cause the increase of gastric acid PH value and decrease the drug absorption, which needs the help of acidic medium to promote absorption; the interval with aluminum hydroxide or magnesium hydroxide, metoclopramide, digoxin and ketoconazole is at least 2 hours.
6. After the product is opened, the remaining tablets should be kept away from light in the blister package.
